Some people like to watch all the oscar movies before the awards ceremony. I wanted to see all the stupid comedies before summer was over. With the news of ABC’s re-tooling of “At the Movies”, the movie geek blog roll went ape over this clip of Gene and Roger slinging insults at each other. However, only LA.com brings you the extended “I already shot my wad on the protestants” version here.

Last Friday there were reports of a shark sighting at Martha’s Vineyard, shooting locale of Jaws. Anytime life imitates Jaws my heart skips a couple of beats. Alas, the reports turned out to be false and there was no need to bust into find-him-for-three, catch-him-and-kill-him-for-ten mode.
